Information from third parties. We use third-party providers to operate the Site and our services. When you sign and pay through our engagement flow, our third-party e-signature and payment providers collect and process your information under their own privacy policies. We receive confirmation and limited transaction details, but we do not collect or store your full payment card number.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements, and to resolve disputes.

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website (the “Site”), operated by JAG Legacy (“we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Nature of our services

JAG Legacy provides tax strategy, planning, structuring, and educational services. Legal, tax-filing, and securities services are provided by appropriately licensed members of our team in their individual professional capacities and, where required, through their respective licensed entities. JAG Legacy itself does not hold out as a law firm, a registered investment adviser, or a broker-dealer.

2. No advice; no relationship formed by the Site

Content on the Site is general and educational. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice, and it is not an offer or solicitation of any security. No attorney-client, advisory, accounting, or other professional relationship is created by visiting the Site, submitting a form, or reading our materials. A professional relationship arises only under a signed engagement agreement.

3. Engagements are governed separately

If you engage us, the terms of that engagement are set out in a separate engagement letter, which controls the scope, fees, and terms of the services we provide. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed engagement letter, the engagement letter governs as to that engagement.

4. Payments

Engagement fees are presented and collected through our secure signing-and-payment flow, operated by third-party providers. By submitting payment you authorize the charge described at checkout. Refunds: Fees, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the terms of your engagement letter.

5. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — text, design, graphics, and marks — are owned by JAG Legacy or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Third-party services and links

The Site relies on and links to third-party services (including our e-signature, payment, scheduling, and email providers). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

Legal, tax-filing, and securities services, where provided, are delivered by appropriately licensed members of our team in their individual professional capacities and through their respective licensed entities.

Securities licensing

Securities and any investment-advisory services, where offered, are provided by a licensed member of our team in their individual capacity as a registered representative and/or investment adviser representative of [broker-dealer / RIA name], Member FINRA/SIPC — not by JAG Legacy, which is not a broker-dealer or registered investment adviser. JAG Legacy and [broker-dealer / RIA name] are separate and unaffiliated. Securities-related services are available only in states where that representative is properly registered.

How we're compensated

JAG Legacy is compensated primarily through flat engagement fees for the strategy and planning work we perform. Certain members of our team also hold insurance and, where applicable, securities licenses and — in their individual licensed capacities — may receive commissions or other compensation if a client chooses to implement certain products, such as insurance-based strategies. Any such compensation is disclosed to you before you act, and it does not determine the strategy we recommend.

Educational purpose; no advice

All content on this Site is general and educational. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice, is not tailored to your circumstances, and is not an offer or solicitation of any security.
